Increasing Your Testosterone - 10 Ways to Become a More Virile Man

If you didn't notice by now, we, as men are at war. But the enemy of modern man is not the Taliban, VietCong, or Nazis in Germany, today's enemy is our current lifestyle. We are fighting (and losing) against a blitzkrieg of harmful pollutants in the air in the water and estrogen in our diet, red meat, alcohol, skincare products. Not to mention the daily use of plastic or the sedentary lifestyles that have us cooped up indoors. All of this creates physical and biological havoc in the vast majority of men’s hormonal endocrine systems.
According to a study in Forbes magazine, there's been a “substantial” drop in U.S. men’s testosterone levels since the 1980s, with average levels declining by about 1% per year. No wonder why 30% of men ages 18-29 consider label themselves as "completely masculine".🤔

But men, fear no more, today I'm going to show you how you can naturally and easily win the war against declining T-levels. First, I'm going to show you just how much of an impact low T-levels have on your quality of life.

What is testosterone and why is it important?

Testosterone is one of the most important hormones for men. In men, it is produced primarily in your balls and is key in the development of male growth and masculine characteristics. In other words, your testosterone is much of what makes you a man. Testosterone plays a key role in your:

  • muscle mass and bones

  • facial and pubic hair growth

  • voice deepness

  • sex drive and libido

  • verbal memory and thinking ability

  • mood and quality of life

In other words, higher testosterone levels allow us as men to:

Now that I've gotten your attention, is it safe to assume that you wouldn't mind having your T levels be as high as they could possibly be?

How to Naturally Increase Testosterone Levels

Below are 10 lesser-known and easy-to-implement methods for increasing male testosterone. Some of these tips are lifestyle changes and others are diet changes. Some tips are simply what not to do or what to do less of. Either way, try these tips out and see which ones work best for you to start living your best life.

1. Sprint!

Instead of extended periods of cardio. boost your testosterone levels by sprinting. In one study, the testosterone levels of subjects performing 6-second sprints increased significantly. What's best is that T-levels remained high even after they recovered from the workout.

2. Shut Up and Squat!

Way too many guys in the gym skip leg day and of those that don't skip it, skip squats. What a shame, especially knowing that this study found that post-exercise testosterone levels were significantly increased following 6 sets of 10 squats. In addition, the free squat ended up increasing testosterone about 16.7% more than those that did the leg press.

3.Supplement Your T

Various supplements claim to quickly improve T-levels and/or prevent the body from converting excess testosterone into estrogen. Here are some of the more popular supplements that are known to boost testosterone:

  • Vitamin D

  • Zinc

  • Magnesium

  • D-aspartic acid

  • DHEA - dehydroepiandrosterone

4. Try Herbs

Herbs and some supplements can help your body make testosterone. On the other hand, some herbs work to ease the symptoms of low T. Of course, we have a formula designed for increasing T-levels and easing the symptoms of low T, but here are a few other herbs that are known to improve testosterone:

  • Ashwagandha

  • Horny Goat Weed/ Epimedium

  • Yohimbe Bark

  • Pine Bark extract

  • Tribulus Terrestris

5. Take Your Cellphone Out of Your Pocket

Whatever you do, avoid putting your cellphone in your pocket! This peer-reviewed study found that long-term exposure (60 minutes/day) to mobile phone radiation leads to a reduction in serum testosterone levels.

6. Avoid Drinking Beer

Kind of ironic how whenever you watch sports, there's at least 1 beer commercial on every segment? Coincidence? I think not. Two of the main ingredients in beer, hops and barley, are also two estrogen-increasing chemicals. Not to mention, beer can increase insulin production which has an effect on men with low t-levels.

7. Win!

According to the Biosocial Model of Status (BMS)6,7, testosterone levels fluctuate as a function of the outcome of competitive interactions. Winning in competition typically means a rise in social status and increase in testosterone levels, whereas losing competition is associated with a drop in status and testosterone decrease. Furthermore, these wins and/or losses can even impact ongoing behavior and allow the winner to continue in their dominance. In other words, winning can increase your testosterone levels and keep you winning!

8. Take Cold Showers

It might be tough, but cold showers can boost testosterone in more than one way. Firstly, prolonged exposure to cold has been shown to increase testosterone AND may increase your sperm count, which is a roundabout way of increasing t-levels.

9. Eat T-boosting foods

On one hand, men can use medical treatments and make lifestyle changes to increaess T-levels, but you can also encourage the body to make more through changes in diet. Studies show that two nutrients are important in helping your body produce testosterone, vitamin D and zinc. The below-listed foods will help raise T:

  • Ginger

  • Oysters

  • Red meat, ideally organ meats

  • Tuna

  • Garlic

  • Egg Yolks

 10. Testicle Sunning

Hear me out, I know this sounds crazy, but exposing your testicles to direct sunlight can actually DOUBLE your testosterone levels. The sun is obviously a key factor in Vitamin D production which leads to improved T-levels, but don't take my word for it, read the entire how-to guide here.

Conclusion

Today's day and age is simply not built to produce high-T men. Our diet and lifestyle work against us and it doesn't seem to be trending back. As an herbalist and man like you, I implore you to take action and join the fight against low-T. Follow the tips listed, undergo testosterone improving regiments, ask your doctor, and/or do your own research to achieve peak T. The good news here is that while the things I've recommended below will boost your T, their effect is not limited to just testosterone. They’ll greatly increase your overall health and help you live the life you deserve to live.
